The Problem Solving Colaboration ... Journal #1

Honestly, working in a group isn't my favorite thing to do but when it's an assigned task to handle, I'm all about joining the TEAM and getting the job done.  The best way to ensure a good working experience, in my opinion, in groups is to think hard about whether a project is best done in a group, and, if so, to have a clear set of expectations about group work and tasks.  This assignment, The Problem Solving Colaboration, was a simple task to accomplish: designate who was going to handle what section, submit those sections to the person who's going submit the assignment, make sure that the designated individual who is selected to submit the assignment knows how to and what to submit in the packet, and submit the assignment ON-TIME.
Although this was a somewhat fairly easy assignment, there was one particular group that seemed to have some trouble.  Out of the three individuals that were in the group, one of them didnt show up to class on time; Not only did he arrive to class late, but he didn't have the assignment printed out prior to the start of class. Needless to say, there was a disconnect somewhere within the communication of the group. Communication is key to working with a group because as Professor Andrews-Graham says ...
